divorce splitDIVORCE:

A divorce can be one of the most traumatic events of your life and in your children’s life, if you have them.  At Estolano Law, we’re here to make the process easier and to ensure that your rights are protected.  As you probably realize, a divorce is more than just the end of a relationship.

The marriage may end, but many issues remain.  Even the shortest marriage often leads to many legal problems. The first question may be as simple as asking where do I live?

Then, the questions multiply: How do I survive this divorce financially? Who pays spousal and/or child support and in what amount? What happens to the children? Who will they stay with? Do the children need counseling? Who pays the debts that have accumulated?

Estolano Law seeks to help you deal with the legal issues so that you  can take care of yourself and your family. We will guide you through the process, be it a short process or a prolonged litigation.   If possible, we will seek a mutually beneficial settlement regarding custody, but we are also experienced when it comes time to fight for your rights in custody and move-away battles.

In other marriages, division of assets is a key issue. Estolano Law is experienced in dealing with the division of assets in cases ranging from limited assets to complicated and high asset cases. We will ensure that you know all the financial issues that are at stake in your divorce.

Legal Separation

Sometimes couples seek to have a legal separation instead of a divorce. This is often for religious reasons and sometimes is a step along the way to a full divorce. A legal separation separates the parties financially, but leaves both parties unable to remarry until a divorce is entered.

Uncontested Divorce

Sometimes the best divorce is the one that has the least amount of litigation. We offer uncontested divorce packages for clients that are in agreement as to the terms of their divorce.  Schedule an appointment for full details.

Paternity Actions

A paternity action is a court procedure by which the Court can make a legal determination of paternity, i.e. can decide who is, for legal purposes, the father of the child.  Through this procedure, we can make orders of child custody and visitation as well as child support.

From the smallest case to the largest, Estolano Law treats your case as if it were our own. Whatever your situation may be, feel free to dial for a detailed consultation
